"It is clear that someone out there is playing a mischief," says a cyber crime expert, "Either it is Bilawal or one of his friends uploading the song and propagating that it belongs to EK THA TIGER. Or it could also be possible that Bilawal is himself not aware about someone using his name and trying to create confusion amongst audience for EK THA TIGER soundtrack. Either ways, this is simply not done and totally unwarranted." Having said that, one has to say that regardless of 'Jaaniyan' belonging to EK THA TIGER or not, it is well made composition with good vocals that do catch a listener's attention in its first play itself. However, this may well be a short lived fame for the artists involved since the makers have vehemently denied that 'Jaaniyan' has anything to do with EK THA TIGER. "No, the song that you have brought into our notice doesn't belong to EK THA TIGER. None of our songs have gone online," confirms the official spokesperson of the film.
